[edit] Summary
Warren Kundis portrayed the role of "Imam" in The Greater Good.
This first role as Imam came at the spur of the moment on the set. He is in fact a Muslim convert to Islam who came to the set after being approached by a friend of the casting company who approached members of the Muslim Association of Hawaii at the end of Jummah (Friday) prayers.
He is not a professional actor, a former hotel manager with the Hale Koa Hotel who is not attempting to get back to the UH Manoa's Social Work program. He is also a board member of The Interfaith Alliance Hawaii, Forgiveness Project Hawaii, and Not In Our Name Hawaii. His work as a peace activist and social justice advocate is very important to him. Currently divorced but still friends with his ex-wife Sylvia and his "four legged son" Herman, their horse.
