User talk:Lynnette Porter
From LOST
Hi Lynnette, I just wanted to drop you a note "on wiki". 30 minutes to go before the season premiere. I just blogged about it, here. ----Jimbo Wales 00:32, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Yay!
I see you on television right this very instant. :)----Jimbo Wales 03:20, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Links
Hi Lynnette. You can add links by enclosing words or phrases in doule square brackets. [[Jack Shephard]] will create a link to Jack Shephard and [[Jack Shephard|Jack]] will link to the same page, but will appear as Jack. Angela talk 06:35, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome
Hi, Lynnette. Welcome! Looks like you've learned how to do internal links. Wiki formatting can look a bit intimidating if you see a complex page early on, but it's really rather easy, if you take it slowly. Feel free to ask questions. To "sign" a talk or discussion page, use --~~~~ which will automatically enter your user ID and the time. (The convention is to sign discussion or opinion pieces, but not articles.) Have fun! --CocoaZen 20:35, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thank you!
Thank you all for the welcome messages and guidance in using formatting conventions. I know that I'll have more questions! It's great to be here--there's so much to discuss! Lynnette Porter 16:37, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thank YOU!

[edit] Latest one was great, but....
I really enjoyed your insight into the deaths of various characters throughout the series. However, being the obsessive compulsive, fanboyish geek that I am, I couldn't help but notice that you said that the only death that could be directly attributed to the Others was Scott/Steve's death. However, I feel that I must mention that Nathan's death was also directly tracealbe to the Others, as we actually saw Goodwin kill him. Just a small detail, though. The review was still very intriguing. -- Joser Kyind 13:16, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
