[edit] Summary
Jack is approached by his father, Christian, while throwing rocks into the ocean. Christian begins conversation about the wedding, and Jack states that he felt like throwing rocks more than being inside with Sarah and the wedding planner figuring out where all the flowers go.
Christian hands Jack a watch and states that it would be "fitting", when Jack comments that he had never seen him wear it, Christian replies by saying that he never did. Christian explains that it was given to him by his father, and was told to his face that he thought marrying Margo was a mistake, so he never wore it. Christian then assures Jack that he has made the absolute right choice (adding to the irony that Jack and Sarah eventually divorce).
Jack is given one last piece of advice by Christian that if he and Sarah ever have a kid, to try to treat it better than Christian treated Jack.
