[edit] Summary
After Kate and Sawyer escaped from the pursuit of Danny, Ivan and Jason after being helped by Alex, they assisted her in freeing Karl who was locked inside a Hydra facility in Room 23.
Once they freed him, they made their way to the shore to leave, but were stopped once more by Pickett, however, he was shot moments later by Juliet. Alex was told by Juliet that she was going to stay behind, and she watched at Sawyer, Kate and Karl made their way to the main island.
