[edit] Summary
The Crocodile Hunter is a wildlife documentary television series that was hosted by Steve Irwin and his wife Terri. The show became a popular franchise due to its unconventional approach and Irwin's outrageous antics towards approaching and interacting with various dangerous and deadly wildlife animals. It spawned a number of separate projects, including the feature film The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course and two television spinoffs, The Crocodile Hunter Diaries and Croc Files. The series has been presented on Animal Planet and has been in international syndication on networks worldwide.
[edit] Appearance
In Hearts and Minds, during a flashback sequence, Sawyer is shown being processed at an Australian police station. Clearly angry, Sawyer yells at the arresting police officer, and calls him a "croc hunter" in a derogatory fashion. This is a clear reference to Steve Irwin, and his eponymous televison series.
