Terry O'Quinn, born Terrance Quinn, was born on July 15, 1952 in Newberry, Michigan. Terry has graduated from both Iowa University and Central Michigan University. In addition to being a successful actor, O'Quinn is also a talented guitarist and singer. O'Quinn is one of the few cast members of Lost who did not have to audition for his role, as Lost co-creator, J.J. Abrams, who O'Quinn worked with on Alias, imagined Terry in the part of John Locke before the actor was even offered it. Terry is married to Laurie O'Quinn, his wife since 1979, and has two children, Oliver and Hunter.
