[edit] Distinction

There are two articles for Billy Dee Williams. One is for the actor, who exists with us in real life. The other is for Billy Dee Williams, the character, who exists in the world of Lost as the actor we also know. The two are not one and the same, as the real life Billy Dee Williams does not appear on a real life show called "Exposé", thus the two articles. --ChristianShephard 04:26, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Fair enough - but shouldn't Billy Dee Williams be a disambiguation pages, with the character Billy Dee Williams to be found at Billy Dee Willams (character). After all it can't really be said that one Billy Dee is mor prominent than the other. Pierre 10:04, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

Billy Dee Williams the character definitely takes prominence over the actor that plays him, as he is an canonical character within LOST, whereas the actor himself, is just a member of the cast. I feel it should stay the way it is. --ChristianShephard 10:31, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

By being a member of the cast I'd say he is even MORE prominent than the character imo.
Even so - the Lost Wiki is supposed to deal with both the LOST production and LOST universe, right? If that's the case, then the proper name for the character page can't be anything else than Billy Dee Willams (character). Pierre 12:26, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
