List of Characters
- I put this list together at Aurora-glacialis's request. The general idea of this article is to show the relationships between the island inhabitants, especially how the flashback characters relate to them. I group the characters on the island into their most logical group (Yes, I realize some of the Dharma people may not be on the island, but I had to put them somewhere.) Under each person are their known occupations, their status (alive, deceased, missing, or unknown), and an alphabetical list of flashback characters. It's a good start. There's still much to add, and it will obviously need to be kept up to date as more episodes air. -- Elvis 14:47, 28 March 2006 (PST)

- There is a method to the madness. First the characters are split into their "group" (middle section survivors, tailenders, others, etc.). then within each group, believe it or not, they are already alphabetical -- by last name (or first name if the last name isn't known). -- Elvis 02:44, 30 March 2006 (PST)
- Just curious, are we going to consider other "canon"/"official" sources like 'The Diary'? If so, just for example, would we add Larry?
- I think it probably makes sense to include them somewhere. How about a sub-section for "Characters in other media" so that it's clear they didn't come from the TV show? I didn't read the books or visit all the websites so I won't be much help there. -- Elvis 10:47, 17 April 2006 (PDT)
Desmond
Should he be in with the Dharma Initiative people? We don't know he isn't what he says he is so I didn't move him but put a possible next to his status. For the same reason I edited Henry Gale's occupation because we don't know that he is what he says he is.--Tricksterson 08:06, 29 March 2006 (PST)
Yeah i think we can only go with what we know at the moment and not what we suspect. Until its written in stone (and possibly even after) we can't be sure that the writers wont do something to turn our perception on its head. Just classify by what we know or best guess otherwise we might have a rather large Misc. section :) --MRNasher
Jennifer Gale
Why is she listed as deceased? If the $20 note is authentic, it would seem that she didn't travel with Henry, and is likely safe at home. AndFound 14:01, 6 May 2006 (PDT)
- I removed her. There is no evidence "Jennifer Gale" ever existed as the story came from the faux Henry. the $20 note doesn't indicate if "Jenny" is the real Henry's wife or just his girlfriend/friend/etc.--Isotope23 12:37, 25 May 2006 (PDT)
