Sabine was a member of the Others, who became pregnant even though she knew she was taking a risk, due to the fact that every pregnant woman on the island had died. She was no exception, when she died on the operating table in the Staff Station after Ethan and Juliet attempted to save her. Goodwin was also present during the attempted operation. (One of Us)
