Ben and Juliet are present for strange activity occurring in Room 23 caused by Walt.
Alarms sounded at the Hydra Facility where Room 23 is located, and Ben arrives to find Juliet already present. Ben inquired as to what is happening, and Juliet stated that "he did it again". Upon hearing this, Ben stated that Juliet is going to have to tell him to stop doing it, to which Juliet objected by saying that she will not go in there. Ben then suggests getting Beatrice to go in, and Juliet says that neither she nor Tom, or any of the Others will go in because they're scared.
Juliet mentions that Michael is out looking for him, and that they could bring him back, to which Ben sharply shuts down. Juliet reminds Ben that the situation is his responsibility and that he was the one who wanted him here, to which Ben says that Jacob wanted him here, and that he’s important and special. Juliet counters the claim by saying he's dangerous, which Ben finds ridiculous reminding her that he is a just a child. Juliet brings Ben to the outside where a boarded up window is seen with a flock of dead birds lying on the ground below.
"Jacob wanted him here. He’s important. He’s special."
- - Ben
- The title is a reference to Room 23 where Karl was discovered in Not in Portland.
- Juliet shows Ben a flock of dead birds lying outside of a boarded window. A bird also crashed into Susan and Brian's window in Special.
- While meeting with Michael in the Decoy Village in Three Minutes, Bea Klugh says to Walt "Do you want me to put you in the room again?" which may or not be a reference to this.
