Peter Talbot confronted John Locke after his mother became involved with a man named "Adam Seward", who also went under the name Anthony Cooper. When Peter checked Cooper's medical records, he noticed that John had given him a kidney, and consulted him to inquire further. Locke, however, denied knowing Cooper, claiming that it was an anonymous donation, and that they had never met. Peter Talbot was later mysteriously killed, and Locke accused Anthony of being the one who killed him.
