Mr. Blond was a Representative at Robert Burns College who worked alongside Jeff Hadley. When Jeff Hadley arrived in Lochheath, Mr. Blond was the first person to greet him, and accidentally referred to him as Richard Hadley. Mr. Blond presented Jeff to the cottage that he would be staying at.
Mr. Blond informed Jeff of an exciting opportunity of having his art honoured at the Newton Museum of Art in Sydney. Mr. Blond then made a comment about Jeff's relationship with his student, Savannah McCulloch, which highly offended Jeff.
