Kevin Durand portrayed the role of "Martin Keamy" on LOST.
Kevin went to the University of Windsor to train for his acting career in 1994. But he decided to leave because training just wasn't for him. He wanted to get into the field.
Durand was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. He attended St. Ignatius High School. Durand's first acting experience was in high school drama class.
He has acted alongside Ashton Kutcher in the movie The Butterfly Effect as cellmate Carlos, the Chicano who aids him against disgruntled Aryans in lock-up. He also had a recurring role as Agent Jay Swopes in the American miniseries remake of Touching Evil, as well as small roles in the television shows Without a Trace and The Dead Zone.
He appeared in at least two episodes (one of which was a two-parter) of the television show Stargate SG-1 as the goa'uld Zipacna. He also had roles in Mystery, Alaska; Walking Tall; Wild Hogs; Andromeda; Smokin' Aces; and 3:10 to Yuma. More recently Durand played Fred J. Dukes in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and the angel Gabriel opposite Paul Bettany in "Legion". His latest role was opposite Russell Crowe as Little John in Ridley Scott's "Robin Hood" .
Kevin Durand is also known for his height at 6' 6" (198 cm).
