Jeffrey Lieber is credited as one of the creators of Lost.
He was born in Evanston, Illinois, United States, and is credited as a co-creator of the television series Lost.
Lieber is also credited on the films Tuck Everlasting and Tangled, as well as having been writer/executive producer for the unaired 2004 TV pilot Hitched for FOX.
ABC hired Lieber, based on his pitch, to write a pilot for Lost. Then-ABC president Lloyd Braun rejected the draft, then titled Nowhere, and instead approached J.J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof to rewrite. Though Lieber has not had any further input into Lost, an industry-standard WGA arbitration recognized him as a co-creator of the show.[1]
