JD was a flight attendant who was employed by Oceanic Airlines and was aboard Oceanic Flight 815 flying from Sydney, Australia to Los Angeles, California. Before the flight, JD along with a fellow flight attendant Michelle assisted Locke on to the plane when the special wheelchair for loading the disabled passengers went missing.
During the flight, JD was confronted by Cindy and was notified about Charlie’s strange behaviour, as Charlie moved towards the front of the plane, JD and Cindy followed behind him, as he persisted to get Charlie to open the bathroom door, the plane began to experience turbulence and eventually crashed. It is most likely that JD was killed in the crash as his body is never shown, and no mention of him is ever made on the island.
