Francine was in the same anger management class as Locke and Helen. Francine’s mother may have been an alcoholic and would on a number of occasions steal money from her. When Francine informed the group that her mother had recently stolen $30 from her, John snickered claiming that he did not think that $30 was worth getting angry about. When John told his emotional story to the group, he shouted at Francine outraged that she believed something as trivial as $30 being stolen was even close to the importance of his kidney being stolen.
