The official description given on Find815.com is "Sam's determination to reach the mysterious coordinates risks the lives of all aboard the Christiane I. Will Sam find answers? Or has he made a lifethreatening mistake?"
January 28, 2008Edit
Video One - An AllianceEdit
While on the Christiane I, Sam provides Ockham with the coordinates that were sent to him by the Maxwell Group, however, Sam lies and says that he had found them in his room. Sam inquires about the deal that was made with Oscar Talbot, Ockham states that he is being paid for three months, Ockham then inquires about what Sam gets out of it, to which he replies answers.
In this activity, Sam is attempting to steer the ship towards the coordinates of -11.1784, 112.2363; in doing so he must utilize the sonar capabilities of the ship, avoiding collisions at any cost. The player must use the left and right keys on their keyboard to steer the ship and the up arrow key to increase the speed that the ship is traveling. Failure to correctly navigate the ship toward the destination without avoiding a collision, will result in an alarm sounding, and an accompanying clip. Correctly doing so will be triggered by a message counting down the distance to the target.
Video Two - FailureEdit
Failing to properly navigate the ship, will result in Sam losing control of the ship, and a collision imminent.
Video Three - SuccessEdit
Ockham arrives and removes Sam from the helm stating that Talbot knows the ship is changing course. Talbot explains that the coordinates were insignificant due to the fact that the Maxwell Group is in the possession of Magnus Hanso's journal, which their search grid is based off of. Just as Talbot begins to put the incident behind them, the sonar device begins to beep, and Ockham believes that they have found the Black Rock.
