BEFORE THE CRASH

- Killed her "step" father, Wayne, knowing (without her mother's or the man who raised her as her father realising she knew) that he was actually her biological father. Implied reason was that Wayne was getting drunk and beating her mother regularly and making sexual overtures to Kate.
- The Marshal narrowly missed a horse but crashed into a tree allowing Kate to escape.
- Crimes included murder, armed robbery, assault and resisting arrest
- Confronted who she had thought was her biological father who is in the military (Sayid can be seen on the TV monitor in the military recruiting center)
