This is a list of all the unanswered questions that have been asked in Lost, both explicitly and implicitly. Please add questions! When possible, make sure to reference that episode that the question comes from. Once a question has been officially answered on the TV show or by some other source, we can remove it from the list. Do the Others want Aaron? If so, why?
Why did the psychic insist Aaron must not be raised by anyone but Claire?
Why was it so urgent that he be baptized, that Charlie had recurring dreams about it?
What was Aaron injected with (through Claire after her kidnapping), and why? Is there any connection to the implication that Walt can appear places he isn't (for instance, did the injection imbue Aaron with the same "powers"?)

What did Charlie's mother mean when she told him he was special?

Locke

How did Locke originally got in his wheelchair?
How did Locke become healed?
Why did he initially lie about what happened to Boone?
What did Locke see in The Security System in Walkabout? Or did he see something else that was "beautiful"?
Since Locke knew himself to be the one who attacked Sayid and destroyed the transceiver, why did he suggest Sawyer did it, then hand Sayid a large dagger with which to *kill* Sawyer?
Is Locke part of the Hanso Foundation, or does he know more about it than he has revealed? Was he told to study the other subjects and is that what he is doing?

While Walt was in Sydney with his mother and step father, did Michael ever seen him while living in New York?

Who is the real Sawyer?
Since he told Hibbs that he'd planned to kill him the next time he saw him, why was Sawyer so quick to believe whatever Hibbs told him about Frank Sawyer?

What happened to Nadia?
If the government officials told Sayid that Nadia was alive before he boarded Flight 815, why did he then tell Danielle Rousseau that Nadia was dead?
- It's possible it was to create an affinity between them so she would trust him - He's a master of manipulation.

Sun

Is her baby from Jin or Jae Lee (her tutor)? (OR What was the reason behind her troubled expression when she was hugging Jin?)

Walt

Why did the Others want him?
Does Walt have special powers? If so, how and why?
- Exactly why was his step father scared of his powers (besides the dead bird)?
Was it really Walt talking to Michael on the computer?
Can Walt astral project?
Did Walt's Comic Book containing Polar Bears have anything to do with Polar Bears appearing on The Island?
Why are the Others making him take tests? What are those tests for?
Is he leaving the island permanently with Michael?
Is he really on the boat? As mentioned before, Ms. Klugh asked Michael if he has ever seen him, even though Walt was across the world.

The coffin is empty, and The Island has healing powers. Is he still dead? Was he really dead to begin with?

Why did he need/want a bodyguard while in Australia, if it was a ruse to get Ana Lucia to come with him for company, why?

Cindy

What happened to Cindy?
Did The Others really take her and is she still alive?

Danielle

What is the sickness that she has referred to? Does it have something to do with the Quarantine?
Does Danielle know more about The Island than she has shared? Has she lied about what she has shared?
How did she find the cable and what is it plugged into?
Was she kidnapped and injected, as Claire was, before Alex's birth?

Desmond

Is he still alive after activating the Fail Safe?
What medicine was he taking?
Did he mean anything special by “you’ve gotta lift it up”?

- He said he was in the Army and that he quit because people followed his orders. If he is Joe Inman, did it bother him that Sayid learned how to torture people from his instruction?

Ms. Klugh

Is she a leader of the Others?
- At least a higher rank than other others, because the "him" MUST be a man, gramatically and the faux Henry Gale confirmed it.
  - This of course assumes that Henry and the Others are being truthful in their references to "Him".
Why is she referred to as "Ms." Klugh? What is her first name?
Is she one of the images in the black smoke that Mr. Eko sees?

The Swan Station (Hatch)

Why is there a Quarantine sign on the door?
What are the blast doors for?
What is behind the cement wall?
Where is the magnetic force coming from?
Who drew the mural? Was it Thomas?
Why was a section cut out of the film and left in a Bible in the Arrow Station? Why *this* particular section of film?
What does the computer do, besides resetting the countdown to 108? How does this release the built-up charge, and is this related to the Incident? Why are the Numbers the code for doing this?
What was this place like before the station was built? (Why did it become necessary to push the button?)
What did the fail-safe do to the station?
Is it completely destroyed?

The Pearl Station (Hatch)

Does this station connect to the others simply by surveillance or are there secret passages?
Where is the Pala Ferry/Barracks located as referred to in the Pearl Orientation Video?
Why does the information sent via the pneumatic tube just end up in a pile in a meadow? Does anyone read the notebooks? Does the Pearl station have an endless supply of capsules?
Do the screens monitor all the stations, or just multiple cameras in stations 3?
Why is there a camera inside the station, who's watching it and where from?
Why is the station unattended?
What is the reason for the drug smugglers plane falling onto its entrance? -- "Boone. Boone made it fall. Then he died. The sacrifice that the Island required." (Locke)
Did a System Failure cause the Nigerian plane to crash, and when did this happen?

The Door (Hatch)

What is the purpose of the guards... Guarding the rockface that is behind the door?
What is the purpose of this station?
Which station is this on the Blast Door map?
Is it just a diversion hatch?
Is there more to this station than a solid rock wall?

The Arrow Station

What is this station's purpose?
Why was this station apparently abandoned?
Why is there a Quarantine sign on the door?
Why did someone bring a Bible here, and place a section of film inside it that was taken from the Swan Station?
Who is the (former) owner of the glass eye found here?

The Medical Station

Why is there a Medical Station on the Island? Was it there specifically for Claire?
Why did the others apparantly abandon this station after Claire's escape?
Why was there no Quarantine sign on the door?
Why is there an Escape Hatch in this station? Why was the sign painted over?
What happened to the equipment in the Station?

The Monster

What is the monster?
Did someone create the monster and if so who?
Are the smoke and machine one being? Or is there more than one monster?
Is it controlled by someone, or a free creature on the island (if it is a creature, that is)?
Why did it kill the pilot?
When the magnetic containment has been released, will the smoke still appear?

What are the whispers?
Why are Polar Bears, presumably brought by the DHARMA initiative, roaming free on the island?
What does the power line that Sayid finds in Solitary lead to, why does it go into the ground and where does it come from?
Who are the dead bodies referred to by Locke as Adam and Eve?
How did the Black Rock end up so far inland?
Is the Black Rock a slave-transport ship? Or were the skeletons the remains of the losing side in a mutinty/attempted mutiny?
Were there any survivors of the shipwreck of the Black Rock? If so, what happened to them?
Because it has often contradicted revelations & developments in Lost, how is the Diary indended to relate to the show?
What/Where is the Radio Tower? And why was it broadcasting the numbers?
What is the sickness?
If Richard Malkin was telling Mr. Eko the truth about being a fraud, why did he put Claire through all that hassle? If he was a fraud, why did he refuse to take Claire's money and even buy her airline ticket?
Was Claire the client he was defrauding, or was she merely a stepping stone so he could defraud some couple in Los Angeles by getting a baby to them?
Why are the losties having visions and hallucinations?
What culture and civilization does the four toed staute and stone wall artifact represent? Are they just decoys by Dharma or is there some ancient powerful artifact or energy source on the Island?

The Dharma Initiative

We know DHARMA is an acronym. What does it stand for?
Why does DHARMA supply food with its own logo on it? Do they manufacture their own supplies? What's wrong with sending regular brands of food? Why not just send Mallomars, for example, instead of Dharmalars?

The Hanso Foundation

Is Alvar Hanso still alive? Is he on the Island?
Are the Others employees of the Hanso Foundation?
What if any, is the relationship between Alvar Hanso and Magnus Hanso?

Widmore Construction/Labs

Are Widmore Construction and Widmore Labs associated with the Hanso Foundation and/or the Dharma Initiative?
Whose pregnancy test did Sun use?
