This page is to list all of the continuity errors that are found in Lost.

Season 1

  • The flight of Oceanic Flight 815 departs at 14:55 [[1]] and travels east for six hours before crashing. This would mean that the crash would happen during the night yet it was during the day. --> They traveld eastwards, where the sun rises.
  • When Boone used the radio in the small plane, he heard his voice on the other end. This should have been Bernard's voice.
  • The script is different from Boone's transmission to Bernard's. Although they are very similar, there are a few words different between them.
  • If you listen to the iteration of Rousseau's message, that Sayid picks up on the transceiver, you will find it repeats both more and less than the 30seconds that Sayid estimates; when of course it should be roughly equal everytime for the the math to work.
  • In Deus Ex Machina Jack's Rucksack changes between shots when he speaks to Sawyer over his headaches. (ca. 16:00, see [2] and [3])

Season 2

  • In S2E01 when Jack goes to press a button on the computer Locke says "I wouldn't do that". In S2E02 when we see the same scene from Kate's point of view Locke says "I wouldn't do that Jack". However, these may be based on the character's memories, which slightly vary, as shown in some of the Sun and Jin flashbacks, where their memories are slightly different.
  • The dates on Jin's resume shown in "...And Found" have the wrong years.
  • During Jack's flashbacks in the episode "The Hunting Party" an x-ray can clearly be seen marked November 2005. This is the filming date of this episode.
  • During Kate's flashbacks in the episode "What Kate Did" some fruit can clearly be seen marked as being from 2005. In the January 23, 2006 official podcast, Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof acknowledge this is a continuity error. The flashbacks were occurring in either 2000 or 2001.
