Emilie de Ravin was born on December 27, 1981, in Mount Eliza, Australia. Emilie was accepted into the highly prestigious Australian Ballet School in Melbourne, but withdrew after a year to pursue acting. Emilie's first major role was in the fantasy BeastMaster, but is most well known for her roles as Claire Littleton in Lost and "Tess" in Roswell. Emilie lives in California with her fiancée, Josh Janowicz, and her dog Bella. She also portrays Belle on the show Once Upon A Time.
