Eddie was the personal security guard at Anthony Cooper’s house. When John Locke arrived at the house to meet Anthony, Eddie informed John that Cooper did not have a son, however; after calling Anthony he discovered that he really was his son and allowed him entry.
Eddie and John formed something of a friendship when he would make frequent visits. The two would exchange pleasantries when John would arrive to see his father. However, this was short-lived after Anthony conned John out of his kidney and Eddie was ordered not to allow John entry into the house and forced John to move his car and vacate the premises.
