What was his job in the DHARMA Initiative?

• He was worker in a DHARMA - station. However he died and so could Charlotte never see her father again.

It is am extremely long shot but he could be David Reyes, who left the Island not long after Charlotte left in 1977 to find her and Jeanette Lewis, but instead met Carmen Reyes and not long after this, in 1978 she became pregnant and gave birth to Hurley. This could also be a reason why David Reyes left for 17 years when Hurley was young, so he could return to the Island.
