He was the supply manager at a company which was interested in buying one of the Heatherton C-815 copiers, and met with Charlie Pace for a presentation on how the copier worked. Francis Heatherton arranged so that he would purchase 2 copiers to boost Charlie's confidence. Charlie became ill during the presentation due to his withdrawal and was removed by EMTs from the building.
