Background and Personal Life[]
Ammar Daraiseh was born in Ramtha, Jordan, on November 11, 1969. Daraiseh attended DePaul University's acting program, recieving an MFA in Acting in 1996.
Career[]
Daraiseh's first acting role was in a 1996 episode of Early Edition. Two years later, Daraiseh appeared in the Tommy Lee Jones film U.S. Marshals in a bit part as a drugstore clerk. Soon afterward, he appeared in a 2001 episode of the J.J. Abrams show Alias. Over the next few years, Daraiseh appeared in episodes of J.A.G. and Without a Trace. In 2005, Daraiseh appeared as an Iraqi Officer in Jarhead, and then appeared in an episode of The Shield. In 2007, he voiced Tamir in the highly successful video game Assassin's Creed. He will provide a voice in the video game 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand in 2009.
On Lost[]
In 2009, Daraiseh appeared as Hajer in the seventh episode of the fifth season, "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham".
