There's No Place Like Home - Part 1

Ben, Locke and Hurley make their way to the Orchid station, only to discover that the freighter team has already arrived. Jack and Sawyer make their way across the island to track the helicopter. Sayid returns on the Zodiac raft, and turns it over to Daniel who begins ferrying survivors to the freighter.

In flashforwards, the Oceanic SixJack Shephard, Kate Austen, Sayid Jarrah, Sun-Hwa Kwon, Hugo "Hurley" Reyes and Aaron Littleton — arrive in Honolulu where they are greeted by Mr. and Mrs. Paik, Margo Shephard, and Carmen and David Reyes. In the ensuing media circus, the Oceanic Six give a press conference where they tell a cover story to appease the press... - Oceanic Six-Centric

Scott and Steve is a minor storyline, the premise for which includes the other survivors mixing the two of them up. Scott Jackson and Steve Jenkins were introduced in The Moth after Jack was caught in a cave-in, Michael gathered volunteers and pointed to Steve as said "Hey...uh...Scott!", to which Steve replied "I'm Steve", which was followed by Scott saying "I'm Scott". In Homecoming, one of the characters was murdered (presumably by Ethan Rom) and the body found on the beach, was that of the individual who had previously identified themselves as Steve in The Moth.

This article will help to unravel the mystery surrounding these two survivors, and offer evidence to support which of the survivors was actually murdered. Including references to episodes in which the two were mentioned and featured, a comprehensive gallery of the two, as well as supporting comments from the actors themselves, as well as the producers.

The storyline is a running joke that has lead to the confusion over which individual was killed, confusion by both the survivors and the viewers. The joke being that the survivors could not tell the two apart, and even weeks after one of them was murdered, they still manage to mistake them...
